Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NPI Engineer to join our Cable Harnessing division. In this role, you will lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to mass production, ensuring technical excellence, process efficiency, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage NPI projects for cable harness production from development stage to mass production.

• Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and smooth project execution.

• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and work instructions.

• Evaluate and select materials, connectors, and protection components according to design requirements.

• Drive engineering change processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide technical support to production teams during initial manufacturing stages.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, UL, ISO) and customer-specific requirements.

1. BSc. in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.

3. Strong technical skills in electro-mechanical manufacturing.

4. Knowledge of ERP systems, robotics, automation, programming languages, 3D modelling & simulation is an advantage.

5. Fluency in German is a plus.

6. Knowledge or experience in bare PCB manufacturing is an added advantage.
