📢 We’re Hiring: Technical Support – NPI

Location: GPV Lanka (Private) Ltd., Kochchikade
Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)

GPV Lanka is looking for a Technical Support – NPI professional to support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and product-related experiments, ensuring customer requirements are met while aligning with organizational goals.

🔧 Your Key Responsibilities

• Support NPI Engineers to industrialize new products with a “right first time” mindset

• Execute product-related experiments under guidance

• Verify completeness and accuracy of engineering documents

• Create and update MES and Visual Aid Files (VAF)

• Generate CAD files based on Pick & Place files and BOMs using NPI utility tools

• Implement Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) across systems (MES, CAD, VAF)

• Update NPI tracking lists and ensure timely status reporting

• Assist in developing operating instructions and equipment specifications

• Apply technical skills to perform NPI engineering tasks efficiently and accurately

• G.C.E. A/L in Maths or Technology stream

• Minimum 6 months Basic Electronics course (NAITA, VTA, Electro, etc.)

• Good English language skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to handle mechanical and electrical measurement equipment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Considered as added advantage

• Experience in EMS or mechatronics industry

• Knowledge of programming languages

• Experience with Gerber editors/viewers & CAD tools
  (GC-Prevue, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)

• Understanding of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620 & ISO 2768-1
